Who We’re Looking For?
These are the different positions that are working in the Biosensing Team Twente and which are the skills and requierements that we are looking for each of them.
Device Design
The Device Design position focuses on creating a user-friendly and functional biosensing device. Ideal for students interested in product design, mechanical engineering, or biomedical technology, this role ensures the biosensor is both effective and practical for real-world applications.
Chip Design
The Chip Design position focuses on developing and optimizing microelectronic chips for biosensing applications. This role is essential for creating high-performance, efficient, and reliable chips that drive the team’s research forward.
Business
The Business position focuses on understanding the needs of patients and medical professionals to align the biosensor’s development with market demands. Ideal for students passionate about healthcare innovation, business strategy, and user-centered research, this role ensures the technology makes a real impact.
Experimental & Analysis
The Experimental & Analysis position focuses on testing, validating, and optimizing the biosensor’s performance through experiments and data analysis. Ideal for students passionate about scientific research, data analysis, and biosensing innovation, this role ensures the sensor meets high standards of accuracy and effectiveness.
Marketing & Communication
The Marketing & Communication position focuses on promoting the team, increasing its visibility, and engaging with external audiences. Ideal for students passionate about digital marketing, public relations, and science communication, this role helps share the team’s story and connect with a wider audience.
Chemistry
The Chemistry position focuses on developing and optimizing the chemical components of the biosensor for effective biomarker detection. Ideal for students interested in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, this role applies chemistry to solve real-world biosensing challenges.

15 Motivated MSc and BSc Students Across Disciplines
We are looking for students from scientific and engineering backgrounds from but not limited to BSc and MSc levels of AT, AP, BMT, CSE, EE, NT, TM, TCS, IDE and ME.
But wait, there is more! The team isn’t complete without ambitious students of BIT, CS, CREA, IBA or PSY students, that work to connect the technology to the people needing it.
We are also open to ambitious Saxion students.
Possibility of getting up to 15EC of study credits
Usually, students continue their studies alongside the membership in the team. Various study programmes offer study load recognition for participating in our student team.
